The Village of Fremont provides garbage and recycling collection. The Village has contracted with GFL Environmental for garbage and recycling pickup.

Garbage is picked up every Monday. Single stream recycling is picked up the 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month. When a major holiday falls on Monday, the collection will take place the following Tuesday.  Severe weather can also delay pickups, so thank you for your patience.

Collection begins at 6:00 am for both garbage and recycling – please have all items out at the end of your driveway by that time. GFL pickups occur between 7:00am - 7:00pm.  Two containers are provided, one for recycling and one for garbage.
